E. W. Haslehust (illustrator). Beautiful Oxford, described by F. D. How, pictured by E. W. Haslehust, published by Blackie & Son Limited, London and Glasgow. No date. A good bit of history in the text, which combined with the 12 Haslehust paintings make this quite a lovely book. There's no dust jacket, but this copy is very good condition. There are a few little bumps to the cover edges, and the pages have yellowed with time, although evenly and it doesn't detract from the reading. Otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked from beginning to end.

The boards are flat and tight; spine very sunned. Quite clean end papers. Tiny blue bookseller's sticker from F. Weatherhead & Son Ltd, Aylesbury on front paste down. The text block is illustrated with twelve most attractive coloured illustrations and the pages are very even and firm and are unmarked. Very good condition. No dedications etc. Without jacket.
