Light wear to the corner tips and spine ends. Marks in the gutters of both boards. Top edge of text block is foxed. Previous owner's name on front free endpaper. Smudge to fore-edge of one prelimary page. Otherwise, inside pages are clean and unmarked. Quite bright and attractive. A school reader for primary grades, with black, orange and white illustrations by Maud and Miska Petersham.

Still a pleasing copy of this early reader with reinforced hinges possibly indicating a library binding but with no other library indicators of any knid.
