First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good+. 1st Edition. Inscribed First Edition of this interesting book related to an obscure but nasty legal battle involving U.S. intelligence operatives of the 1970s and 1980s. This book skewers the Christic Institute, a left-leaning lawyer-led organization that sought to disrupt what they considered bad actors (such as intelligence operatives) through civil court cases. Susan Huck, a longtime conservative writer, academic, congressional staffer, brands the tactic "legal terrorism." The relatively short-lived Christic Institute would ultimately become defunct after financial consequences of a legal counterattack by aggrieved intelligence operatives. Included with the book is a letter from Huck to a previous owner that refers to former intelligence operatives supporting Huck's book project. Inscribed by Susan Huck to a previous owner on the half title page. Cloth, 171 pages. Signed by Author(s).
