All edges gilt; colorful patterned endpapers; sewn-in silk ribbon page marker. Pages are bright and clean. Binding remains crisp. A fine copy. Originally published in 1889 and includes "Letter from Sir R.G. Harvey Including an Account of a Trip up the Tana River" (pages 262-283) and "Appendix I: List of Fauna Found Chiefly in the Plains Round Killima-Njaro [Mount Kilimanjaro]" compiled by H.C.V.
