USG2: Lovely illustrated front pages illustration with one sea scene, a different two-page scene for rear pages. . 89pp, numerous illustrations, red and silver end papers,#30 in the Early California Travel Series, Art stamped yelloow with silver speckles covers. May have ghost of price sticker on FFEP. Else a FINE copy. Dust jacket is plain off white paper dust cover without titles. The dj has kept the yellow artistic cover pristine. English.

Hardcover. Condition: Very good +. Limited Edition. 89pp. Duodecimo [19 cm]. Printed yellow paper flecked with mica crystals. Endsheets are red, and also flecked with mica. Foot of front board is worn, and boards are exposed at foot of spine. Spine is lightly rolled. There is a faint 7cm smudge on the rear board. Translated from the 1863 edition by Tosh Motofuji. Designed by Robert Hirano. Limited to 300 copies, printed at The Castle Press in Pasadena.
