He had roles in the films of the Boulting brothers, including Private's Progress (1956) and I'm All Right Jack (1959), and later played Dorothy L. Sayers's gentleman det…ective, Lord Peter Wimsey, on television and radio. Carmichael also had a career on stage. The photograph is 140mm x 90mm and in very good condition.
