Hardcover. Condition: Good. Stated First University of California Press Edition. "New Edition" on title page. Chapters 1-34 translated from the Chinese with an Introductory Study. The book is bound in black cloth spine over yellow cloth boards with Yin Yang symbol on the front cover. Titling in yellow on the spine. Spine has faded and the back cover is lightly soiled. Corners softly rolled. The binding is square and firm.Rubber stamped name of previous owner in faded blue ink on the top and bottom edges. Spot of soiling on the first free endpaper along with name of previous owner There is infrequent marginalia and bracketing throughout the book and the text and illustrations are generally clear, clean and unmarked.
