Inside except for some toning to endpapers all text pages and plates in very good clean and bright condition. Gordon Anthony was a British photographer, known particularly for his photographs of ballet and theatre in Britain becoming the portrait photographer to the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre, Stratford in 1933 with his photographs helping to make the Royal Ballet known across the world in the 1930s. This is a heavy book and may cost more postage overseas.

Contains 222 printed pages of text with 8 colour plates and a collection of over 270 monochrome images by Baron Sterling Nahum, the official photographer for Sadler's Wells Ballet, London, and court photographer to the British Royal Family. Fox spotting to the end leaves, minor rubbing to the corners and in Very Good condition. Hand written in black ink opposite the half-title page 'This volume is number 18 of an edition limited to 50 copies specially bound for the author' and SIGNED 'Baron'. The Limited Edition of 150 copies is normally available within the trade, however, this specially bound copy rarely comes onto the open market, having been produced solely for family members and close friends of the author.
