London Books Classics edition from 2007 with a six page introduction by John King. Originally published in the UK by Michael Joseph in 1938 and then by Heinemann in 1946. There is a faint mark at the top right corner of the front panel but the boards are otherwise clean and unmarked. The page edges are a little browned but the pages are unmarked. The jacket has a small closed tear at the top right corner of the rear panel, another tiny nick at the top of the front panel and some light surface wear. Design by Benedict Richards. First printing of this edition.

The Dust Jacket is bright with colors consistent throughout but two small chips to the top edge, stains to the upper front panel and a white mark (paint?) to the lower front panel.
