Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. Six volumes, all hardback books, quarter bound in beautiful red leather, around the spine, tooled decoration and gilt titles finished with red cloth sides. No Jackets. These six books are in excellent condition, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. First Volume has pages 1-432, Second Volume has pages 433-864, Third Volume has pages 865-1296, Fourth Volume has pages 1297-1728, Fifth Volume has pages 1729-2160, Sixth Volume has pages 2161-2592. All pages intact, nice tight bindings in all six volumes, all pages, text, coloured plates and illustrations are in really good, clean, readable order. Note there is no published date in the books therefore I would assume these were published in and around the 1940's to 1950's. Please note all six books are a heavy item to ship therefore postage may increase from listed price depending on final destination. A truly lovely and fascinating collection of educational books that are worth and deserve to be preserved for future generations. They also would adorn any stylish library.
