Inscribed by the Black Sabbath guitarist and co-founder in black ink on the front endpaper "To Louis / Tony Iommi". Exemplaire enrichi d'un bel envoi de l'auteur à Michel Deguy. Précieux exemplaire de Michel Deguy, qui a traduit au crayon puis à l'encre bleue les 27 premiers cantos (sur 34) de l'oeuvre du poète chilien (1917-2001). On joint une belle lettre autographe de François Fédier adressée à Michel Deguy (2 ff. manuscrits sur papier bleuté), datée de mars 1973, qui expose plusieurs "lieux d'incertitude" de la traduction de La guerra santa et se propose "d'engueuler" Godofredo Iommi pour qu'il participe à cette traduction, "même si d'instinct je comprends pourquoi il ne veut pas, lui, traduire son poème". Couverture passée.
