Ipi N' Tombia (Zulu-Sprache - deutsch etwa junges Mädchen) ist eine 1973 entstandene Gruppe, die das Musical "The Warrior" der Südafrikanerin Bertha Egnos Godfrey und ihrer Tochter Gail Lakier auf die Bühne brachte. Es erzählt die Geschichte eines jungen schwarzen Mannes, der sein Dorf und seine junge Frau verläßt um in den Minen von Johannesburg zu arbeiten. Es wurde originale südafrikanische Folklore verschiedener Stile und Ethnien integriert. Das Stück war sehr erfolgreich in Südafrika und wurde auch in Europa, u.a. in London, und am New Yorker Broadway gespielt. Original-Soundtrack mit der bekannten Sängerin Margaret Singana (eig. M.
