Reúne, en apenas veintiuna páginas, cuatro intervenciones firmadas por voces de procedencias distintas: un cardenal católico (S. E. cardenal Liénart), un filósofo central del pensamiento cristiano del siglo veinte (Jacques Maritain), un referente protestante (Rev. J. H. Holmes) y un ensayista judío clave en la revisión crítica de la enseñanza cristiana sobre el judaísmo (Jules Isaac). El conjunto funciona como pieza de época: concisa, directa, pensada para circular, abrir conversación y fijar un tono. La edición corresponde a Ediciones del Instituto Judío Argentino de Cultura e Información, en Buenos Aires, institución que sostuvo durante décadas un trabajo cultural de alto nivel con publicaciones y, especialmente, con la revista Comentario y que se volvió un punto de referencia del debate judío e intelectual en la Argentina de mediados del siglo veinte. A nivel de colección, interesa tanto por los nombres implicados como por el formato: un impreso pequeño, representativo de una red de ideas y de un momento histórico preciso, más difícil de ver completo y en buen estado que los libros "grandes" del mismo período.
