Titled on the covers "The Churches of Gwent, Brecon, Radnor & Hereford" this is a very nice original work, housed in three large scrapbooks, done in the early 1980s by a Mrs Isabel McGraghan of Abergavenny, Wales, in which she has recorded the churches and chapels of these places in captioned photographs, along with many history leaflets and pamphlets on the various churches, some nice unique photos recording restoration work, interior decoration and architecture, etc, the books are large folio size just under 15 inches tall, running to over 90 used pages across the three books, profusely illustrated with nearly 250 original photographs a few of the photos have come loose from their fixings else in good condition A UNIQUE VISUAL HISTORY OF THESE WELSH & HEREFORDSHIRE CHURCHES AND CHAPELS AS THEY WERE IN THE EARLY 1980s.
