Condition: new. Pages: 44 Language: Russian. The "Compozitor Publishing House * Saint-Petersburg" presents the new series of vocal collection consisting of the opera excerpts. Every publication is dedicated to either the Russian or European music from classics to nowadays. Editors' main objective is the complete publication of opera scenes and arias useful to both concert and educational practice. The other way of sorting is based on voices scale (from soprano up to basso). Meanwhile every specified collection includes several vocal pieces without any timbre definition. Many scenes and arias are given as full versions with prior recitatives and introductions, so as finals and their performing variants. Several variants are adduced, if both pre-revolution and Soviet librettos are used, and distinguished vocalists' interpretations are well-known. Convenient transliteration is offered for foreign users (taking into consideration both spelling and pronunciation). Hopefully, this is a good chance for every performer to find something most unique, though yet unknown, but able to enrich both beginners and adults. Contents: M. Glinka. Aria of Sobinin. From the opera "Ivan Susanin" N. Rimsky-Korsakov. Scene and Song of Levko. From the opera "May Night" N. Rimsky-Korsakov. Cavatina of Tzar Berendey. From the opera "Snow Maiden" P. Tchaikovsky. Recitative and Scene Couplets of Triquet. From the opera "Yevgeny Onegin" P. Tchaikovsky. Aria of Prince's Son. From the opera "Sorceress" S. Rachmaninov. Young Gypsy's Romance. Condition: new. Pages: 12 Language: Russian, English. We bring to your attention a collection of original pieces for harp by the St. Petersburg composer, graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory Elena Isaenko. The plays were written with the aim of replenishing and refreshing the repertoire of novice harpists and are addressed to students of the first and second years of study at children's music schools and children's art schools. The author created these miniature plays, inspired by the vivid images of the heroes of Russian folk jokes and nursery rhymes of modern authors. These images also suggested the structure of the pieces, based on 5- and 7-step frets. The editorial board of Olga Dymskaya, an experienced harp teacher, made it possible to adapt some of the pieces in two versions - for the levers harp and for the pedal harp, as well as to optimize technical difficulties in accordance with the students' level of training. We hope that the new plays will delight young musicians, their teachers and listeners.
