We bring to your attention a collection of original pieces for harp by the St. Petersburg composer, graduate of the St. Petersburg Conservatory Elena Isaenko. The plays were written with the aim of replenishing and refreshing the repertoire of novice harpists and are addressed to students of the first and second years of study at children's music schools and children's art schools. The author created these miniature plays, inspired by the vivid images of the heroes of Russian folk jokes and nursery rhymes of modern authors. These images also suggested the structure of the pieces, based on 5- and 7-step frets. The editorial board of Olga Dymskaya, an experienced harp teacher, made it possible to adapt some of the pieces in two versions - for the levers harp and for the pedal harp, as well as to optimize technical difficulties in accordance with the students' level of training. We hope that the new plays will delight young musicians, their teachers and listeners.
