The original announcement "card" for an installation and performances by Item Idem (Cyril Duval) titled "Displaysthetics," and held at Celine's Omotesando flagship store in Tokyo, October 31 - November 4, 2007, during DesignTide Tokyo. Duval (b. 1977), who works under the name Item Idem, is a French conceptual artist, designer, and filmmaker whose work often builds on top of existing fashion and retail brands. The same year as Displaysthetics, he won an award for designing the Bernhard Willhelm store in Tokyo. Single sheet, die-cut with a plastic-coated front, printed both sides; 6 x 6 inches.
