The book presents Iturbide's photography as a meeting point between documentary observation and spiritual, symbolic vision. Ordinary scenes—women in Juchitán, desert wanderers, campesinos, ritual objects—become portals into Mexico's layered identities, indigenous traditions, and syncretic cosmologies.
