O.Adelborg behandlar boken och dess författare i sin "Redogörelser och utredningar", där det framgċr varför de tvċ första upplagorna är sċ ovanliga: "Conradson, som var till ytterlighet självkritisk och noga övervägde varje faktum, ord och formulering, tyckte emellertid, att denna första upplaga hade vissa brister, och lät inom kort draga in den i och för makulering. En andra 'ny, översedd och nċgot tillökad upplaga', omfattande 90 sidor trycktes 1928, men makulerades omedelbart. Mot slutet av 1928 trycktes sċ (i 500 ex.) 'ny, översedd och ytterligare tillökad upplaga', som med sina 110 sidor tillsvidare blev den slutgiltiga."
