Hard Bound. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Unknown (illustrator). American Book Co. NY. 1895. Burgundy Cloth hardbound with black illustrations. Some edge and spine wear and fading. Break in front inside board, rest is still tight. Includes preface, TPI, Intro and index. Nice line drawings throughout.

Hardcover. Condition: Good. Burgundy cloth covers with gold lettering on spine and front cover which is bright. Black blind stamped design and lettering on front cover is still attractive. Covers exhibit wear and fraying on corners, spine ends and back cover hinge. Light wear and soiling to edges and front hinge. Moderate soiling and shelf wear to covers. Marbled page ends are lightly faded due to age. Previous owners name on inside front cover and writing in pencil to bfep's and inside back cover. Light yellowing to text with very occasional foxing. Text is otherwise clean and unmarked. Hinges are weak but still firmly attached. Illustrated with many b&w drawings, diagrams and charts. Steeles Series in the Natural Sciences. "Contains those definitions, illustrations and applications which seemed at the time to interest and instruct the author's pupils." Books are not ex lib unless stated. Each book is individually examined and described.
