La couverture d'origine est en assez bon état montrant très peu d'usure mais un léger brunissement aux bordures, et un éraflure superficielle au bas du dos débordant sur le premier plat due à l'enlèvement d'une ancienne étiquette de bibliothèque. On notera enfin une petite déchirure de 0.5 cm à la bordure droite du premier plat mais qui a été réparée de belle façon. L'intérieur est en très bon état avec seulement quelques cachets de bibliothèque sur la page de titre et au recto du dernier plat un cerne foncé rectangulaire provoqué par l'absorption du papier de la colle d'une ancienne pochette de papier qui a été enlevée.
