Danish botanist Johann Lang (1818-1898) was Director of the Botanical Gardens in Copenhagen and edited "Flora Danica" from 1858 to 1883. An seminal work from the library, with stylized bookplate, of Danish botanist, Morton P. Porsild (1872-1956) who worked most of his life in Greenland. The very useful contents leaf tipped-in is thought to be by Porsild.
