Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. Poets and Poetry. Junior Book I. By E J S Lay. Published by Macmillan and Co in 1947. Size: 5 1/2 x 7 1/2 inches. Page number: 96. Soft cover: Cloth backed with paper. A book of poems that is also a teaching book with questions asked about the poems for the benefit of children's education. It was first published in1928 and the cover design and the back and white illustrations reflect that time. Condition: Good: The stitching that holds the book together has weakened so the binding is no longer absolutely secure. The spine is worn. The pages sit a little proud of the binding but they are, but for a few marks, and a shadow of foxing, reasonably clean and un-thumbed.
