Black textured boards with gilt on the front and on the spine. Christmas gift inscription on the front free endpaper and a previous owner's name on the in side of the front cover. Owner's stamp on the inside of the back board. 282 pages that are free from highlighting, underlining, etc. Two newspaper clippings of columns by the author are inside the book.
