This is a fascinating look at early Detroit's adoption of mass transit n the form of elecric trolley cars (first, of course were horse-drawn cars on street railways. This book is carefully researched and written in an engaging style replete with many captioned, vintage photos and maps. The book is in its original blue cloth covers with gilt spine and cover lettering. There are a couple of small pinprick dents to the front cover, else this is a clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings.
