Pages are lightly tanned at the edges, with light foxing. Occasional thumb marks to pages edges. Binding has remained firm. Boards have slight shelf wear with bumping to corners. Spine ends are a little crushed. Tanning to spine and edges. Boards are bowed. Book has a forward lean. Water marks to boards and spine.

HARDCOVER. 1953. Third impression. A very good copy in red cloth boards which are lightly rubbed at the spine ends. Age tanning to the edges and endpapers and a previous owners name to the half title page. Otherwise the contents are clean and undamaged. The remnant (front panel and spine) of the d/w have been pasted on to a sheet of red paper. This book is very hard to find with any semblance of d/w. Scans available if required.
