Hardcover. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. Forrest Hill (illustrator). 12 mo, 105 pp. Brown cloth, gilt title. Signed by Horan, " To a pal o' mine, Jack G****, From Jack Horan" Artist's signature is on pages 64 and 91, beneath the sketch. This copy is sort of a sentimental one: it's been through a lot. Must have been on a few round-ups. The top 2/3's were dropped in a trough, or a creek. So each page has a watermark from the lower left corner arching up like a rainbow, crossing the divide, and back down to the right hand corner. The binding is in pretty good shape, no pages are loose or missing. Jack's inscription is a little blurred, but not much. And best of all you can taking it on any camping trip without worrying about enjoying it again the next morning, with coffee or the hair of the dog. Signed by Author(s).
