Édition originale de ce recueil de poèmes de Claudine Helft, poétesse et écrivaine française active dans les milieux littéraire…s parisiens de la seconde moitié du XXᵉ siècle. Son œuvre poétique, marquée par une sensibilité intime et une attention particulière au rythme et à la musicalité de la langue, s'inscrit dans la tradition de la poésie française contemporaine diffusée par de petites maisons d'édition littéraires. L'ouvrage est illustré par Marcel Jacno (1904-1989), graphiste, typographe et illustrateur français de premier plan, connu notamment pour la création du célèbre logotype du Gaulois pour les cigarettes Gauloises ainsi que pour plusieurs caractères typographiques influents. Parallèlement à son activité de designer, Jacno collabora avec de nombreux éditeurs et participa à la réalisation de livres d'artistes et d'ouvrages bibliophiliques. Notre exemplaire fait partie des exemplaires hors commerce sur vélin d'Arches. Il est enrichi de deux eaux-fortes originales de Marcel Jacno, chacune signée dans la marge et portant la mention « H.C. ». Ces gravures originales accompagnent les poèmes et témoignent de la collaboration étroite entre texte et image caractéristique des livres de poésie illustrés produits à Saint-Germain-des-Prés dans les années 1970. Bel exemplaire d'un livre de poésie illustré tiré à petit nombre, réunissant le travail d'une poétesse et d'un graphiste majeur du XXᵉ siècle. Prix exprimé TTC. Poster for several performances of the Living Theatre's repertory productions of The Apple and The Connection by Jack Gelber, and Dans la Jungle Des Villes by Bertolt Brecht for the 1962 Théâtre des Nations festival in Paris. The company had just won the festival's Grand Prix the previous year, and would…move to Europe the following year. Directed by Judith Malina, designed by Julian Beck, written by Jack Gelber, and with music by Freddie Red, The Connection follows a theatrical producer and writer as they attempt to stage a play about the lives of various proficient drug users and inhabitants of the New York demimonde. The play consists of conversations between the characters as they wait around to score. It won three Obie awards in 1959-1960, including best new play, best all-around production, and best actor. From the first production in 1959 at the Living Theatre. Designed by the French artist Marcel Jacno, who created some of the hallmarks of stylish French life, such as the packaging of the French cigarettes Gauloises, along with countless posters and illustrations. Very good, with wear on the top edge.
