Add to basketSoftcover. First Edition. Though little known because of post revolutionary suppression in Russia and western anti-communism, Tchernykhov's ultra modern Constructivist architectural designs (he was a master of axonometric projection) were hugely influential on a small important number of Western architects. Architectural Fantasies (the last of his four works) was first published in 1933 but subsequently only in scarce editions that did not print his coloured illustrations or did so mostly in monochrome. This is the first new edition of his original text and 101 designs in his original colouring. Text in English & Japanese. Wraps. One instance of highlighting in yellow over two words. Very good indeed.
