First edition, three-volume set with a folded full-page holograph SIGNED letter from Charles Fox tipped in, magnificently re-bound, light brown leather boards with gilt decorative edging, five raised bands to brown leather spine with gilt lettering in coloured panels & gilt tooled decorative motif between raised bands, aeg, blue eps with gilt decorative tooling to front & rear pastedown edges, frontispiece portraits tipped in to each volume, xv + 366pp, viii + 380pp, xii + 404pp (vols 1 to 3 respectively), some slight discolouration to boards, owner's ex libris label to front pastedowns, some foxing & tanning but only to first few pages of each volume).
