Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. A good solid, clean copy. Corners and spine ends are rubbed. Upper corners medium bumped and the green cloth is smudged. The interior is tight and clean. Foxing on the end papers, mainly the front ones. Signed on first fly by Author with an inscription to "Kesh-ke-kash, June 1943" or some s…uch. A nice clean, tight copy with a bit of romanticised history of the Rock River country and Black Hawk of the Sac and Fox. Good reading and seemingly accurate. Illustrated with b&w photos. 240 pages that flow (pun) along down the river from its source to the mighty Mississippi. If you are interested in the area, you need to read this! A few b&W photos.
