Collated, complete.Illustrated by Welsh artist, painter, watercolourist, printmaker, illustrator and designer Sir Frank William Brangwyn.An English translation of Cervantes's series of twelve novellas, authored between 1590 and 1612. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Boards bright, with back strips significantly age toned, and with light handling marks to spine labels. Rear hinge of volume II strained but firmly held. Internally, volume I firmly bound, with four plates of volume II detached and loosely inserted, and the final two text leaves of volume II detached and loosely inserted. Pages bright and generally clean, with only the odd spot. Good. book.
