    No Binding. Condition: Fair. Portrait of Charles Lyttelton. Born 1714 in Hagley, England. Died 22 December 1768 in London, England. Mezzotint by James Watson (c. 1739 - 1790), after Francis Cotes (1726-1770), 1770. Reasonable condition. Margins trimmed to the plate mark. Paper slightly browned and with minor creasing. With some soiling/staining/damage on the right side of the image. Verso: blank. Mounted onto a later album leaf. On the verso of the mount is an architectural engraving. Note: dimensions reflect the entire leaf, excluding the mount. Dimensions: 389 x 277 mm. Charles Lyttelton was Writer, Bishop, Nobleman, Fellow of the Royal Society, Bishop of Carlisle, Antiquary, Churchman, Member of the Lyttelton family, President of the Society of Antiquaries of London, Dean of Exeter, Chaplain to George II, and Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries.
