Marc Ellington was the owner of Towie Barclay Castle, Turriff, Aberdeenshire, Scotland in 1980 when this book was published, and he is still the owner. He found fame as a folk singer from the 1960's though is perhaps most famously remembered for his work with Fairport Convention. Currently he is a mover and shaker liaising with Establishment figures of the past and present such as Margaret Thatcher and Prince Charles.The book also features Mill O' Tifty's Annie.
