    [Travel / photography] Oblong octavo (23 x 29cm), pp.1908, including ads. Folding map to rear, printed in colour. Illustrated throughout with black and white photographs including Kingston, Port Antonio, Port Royal, Montego Bay, St. Anns, Castleton, Bog Walk, Cane River, White River and scenes from everyday life. Bound in cloth-backed decorative boards. Sewn and glued (some glue dried, some leaves loose). With two original silver gelatin photographs of Newcastle tucked in, ecch 9.5 x 7.5 inches. Contents very good, boards rubbed at edges, inside paper joints cracked, cloth frayed. Uncommon. An uncommon turn-of-the-century photobook of the Island which novelist Ian Fleming made his home in the 1940s (the North Shore). This copy is from the collection of Fleming bibliographer Jon Gilbert (pencil ownership within).
