Paris, Société de l'Industrie Minérale, 1868. 8vo. 94 pp.; 11 folded lithographed plates. Later plain wrappers and original printed wrappers. = A well-illustrated work on various mining machinery using nitroglycerine (invented in 1847), written just after the invention of dynamite (1867). Offprint from the society's Bulletin, volume XIII. Printed label "En vente chez Dunot" pasted on front wrapper. Some repairs to the rear wrapper; the text has a waterstain on the lower half but the technical folding plates are fine. In all a good copy.
