The aim of the present study was to carry out an inventory of the myrmecofauna of Cecropia peltata L., a species introduced into tropical forest Africa, at a number of locations in Africa. A total of 84 individuals of this plant were surveyed along the left and right banks of the Dibamba River. In the sites surveyed, 83.3% of plants were host to ants. The 19 species inventoried belong to 10 genera divided into four subfamilies. The species Pheidole tenuinodis Mayr, 1901 is the most common (53.4%). Five species are rare. The stem is the most colonized part of the host plant, with the highest species richness. These results attest to the presence of ants on C. peltata L. and demonstrate the high diversity of this fauna. 68 pp. Englisch.

Un total de 84 individus de cette plante ont à cet effet été inspectés le long des rives gauche et droite du fleuve Dibamba. Dans les sites prospectés, 83,3% de plantes hébergent des fourmis. Les 19 espèces inventoriées appartiennent à 10 genres répartis en quatre sous-familles L'espèce Pheidole tenuinodis Mayr, 1901 est la plus fréquente (53,4%). Cinq espèces sont rares. La tige est la partie de la plante hôte qui est la plus colonisée et qui présente la richesse spécifique la plus importante. Ziel der vorliegenden Studie ist es, an einigen Orten in Afrika eine Bestandsaufnahme der Myrmecofauna von Cecropia peltata L., einer im tropischen waldreichen Afrika eingeführten Art, durchzuführen. Zu diesem Zweck wurden insgesamt 84 Individuen dieser Pflanze entlang des linken und rechten Ufers des Dibamba-Flusses inspiziert. An den untersuchten Standorten beherbergten 83,3% der Pflanzen Ameisen. Die 19 inventarisierten Arten gehören 10 Gattungen an, die in vier Unterfamilien unterteilt sind. Die Art Pheidole tenuinodis Mayr, 1901 ist die häufigste (53,4%). Fünf Arten sind selten. Der Stängel ist der Teil der Wirtspflanze, der am stärksten besiedelt ist und den größten Artenreichtum aufweist. Diese Ergebnisse belegen das Vorkommen von Ameisen auf C. peltata L.und zeigen die hohe Diversität dieser Fauna. 72 pp. Deutsch.
