. (illustrator). Very Good+ in VG jacket: Book is clean, straight, and unmarked; jacket is bright and unwrinkled, with one half-inch chip at spine top, now in archival quality clear protector. Hardcover in jacket, 9 x 12?, approx. 160 pp, not paginated. Description of a marriage as antic play. Entirely in Slovak, except for one page of explanation at rear. The paintings were made by Droppa in the village of Mengusovce showing the dress and surroundings of the Tatra people. Contains many full page colour paintings by Droppa that are quite lovely, and many other colour and b&w pieces in text. A large book; international or priority shipment may require an extra charge above the flat rate. .

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. Very Good volume is torn and stained dust jacket. Dust jacket shows color illustration above red lettering. Jacket is protected by a clear mylar cover. Binding is strong. Pages are clean and unmarked. Black and white and color plates throughout.
