Two volumes hardcovers (no dust jackets as issued) are very good while showing bit of soil to covers and page edges, bit of scratching to page edges, rubbing wear at ends and edges with a small bit of tearing at spine tail of volume I and with some other mild shelf and trace wear, else tight and clean, in very good + slipcase that shows some rubbing and light tearing at open ends of cloth Two volumes combine for over 900 pages with gilt letter and decoration to light blue covers, light blue ribbon markers and all page edges gilt. Illustrated by Gordon Allen with color plates by Peter Skirka with forward by John Batten. Solid copies that will look good on the shelf on this noted and limited hunting anthology.
