Soft cover. Condition: Very Good. 2nd Edition. Very good condition. Minor wear to book corners and edges, with front cover right corners, now protected with book tape. Inscribed by author with owners name covered with correction tape. Body text and binding are still very good. The figure of George Coppin looms large in the history and growth of the theatre in early colonial Australia and is well documented. Less well known is the story of many who served with him as actors, musicians, costumers, and a host of others whose love for live theatre made a huge contribution to society and to the development of what became distinctly Australian in our culture. We owe them a huge debt, more than we realise. John Musgrave (Old Muzzy) was one whose story deserves to be preserved.
