Add to basketSoft cover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. A colorful example of early-1950s American popular music publishing, issued to capitalize on Teresa Brewer's breakthrough hit recording of "Ricochet (Rick-O-Shay)," which reached No. 2 on the Billboard charts in 1953 and became one of Brewer's signature songs. The composition was written by Larry Coleman (music) with lyrics by Joe Darion and Norman Gimbel, an accomplished songwriting trio whose work helped define postwar American popular music. The cover features an attractive studio portrait of Brewer framed by a modern geometric design incorporating stylized musical instruments, reflecting the clean graphic aesthetic of mid-century commercial music publishing. Condition: Very Good. Complete and sound. Moderate edge and corner wear with small chips at the spine ends, several light cover creases, and ghosting from a small price sticker at the upper right of the front cover. Interior pages remain clean with light age toning, no writing observed, and no detached pages. Fold remains secure and fully functional. A solid collectible copy with attractive eye appeal. First 1953 Sheldon Music edition, published concurrently with Teresa Brewer's original Coral Records release (No. 61043). Copyright page dated 1953 with original publisher imprint.…
