Condition: Good. 1938. First Edition. 156 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth covered boards. Black and white frontispiece. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some mild marking and tanning. Book has slight forward lean.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Good+. First Edition; First Printing. Grey covers with two small bumps on top edge and one along front edge. Some toning on foredges and on the interior endpapers. Book is securely bound and square. It feels as if it has never been read. Jacket has some edge and corner wear with some scuffs and chipping. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 156 pages; Interesting book that puts the son of an African king in an English boarding school, Daneborough. Eventually, the son, Ormeru, is attacked and a mystery ensues.
