This includes sections on invisible inks, home carpentry, electric bells, model locomotives, model aeroplanes, camping out, hectographs, kites - a plethora of activities that might appeal to boys (or girls). There are photo and sketched illustrations, and plenty of tools shown. Olive green cloth-covered boards with black lettering and illustrations, with bumped corners and the cloth lifting slightly on the front lower outer corner; foxing and an inscription on the front end papers; front hinge cracked opposite title page and rear hinge really held by netting; guttering evident pp 112-3; foxing intermittent through the volume; very occasional pencil marks. For its age, in good condition.
