Revised Shooting Script for the 1984 film, released to theaters as "Night Shadows," but retitled on video as "Mutant," retaining that title for all subsequent releases. Copy belonging to special effects coordinator Paul Stewart, with his name on the title page, and annotations throughout in manuscript ink. Stewart is notable for having also worked on "Fat City" (1972), "The Exterminator" (1980), "Heaven's Gate (1980), "Predator" (1987), "Thelma and Louise" (1991), and "Planet of the Apes" (2001). Two brothers vacation to a small Southern town, only to find most of the inhabitants have turned into bloodthirsty zombies due to toxic waste. One of the brothers goes missing, and it's up to the second brother, a local sheriff, and a sexy school teacher to find him (or hunt him down). Shot on location in Georgia. Blue wrappers with paper title label. Draft script for the 1977 film. Copy belonging to actor Altovise Davis, with her first name and copy No. 11 written in manuscript ink on the second leaf, and with her annotations throughout. Laid in is an annotated call sheet dated April 8, 1977, with annotations in manuscript pencil. Altovise Davis starred in six films and made several guest appearances on television shows in the 1970s and 1980s, but is best known as Sammy Davis Jr.'s third wife. A group of townsfolk are trapped in a remote hotel when a horde of migrating tarantulas overruns the town. A cult classic, and one of the best remembered of the "nature on the rampage" films of the 1970s, in no small part due to William Shatner's starring performance as veterinarian Dr. Rack Hansen. Set in Verde Valley, Arizona, shot on location in Camp Verde, Oak Creek Canyon, and Sedona, Arizona. Orange titled wrappers. Title page present, with credits for screenwriters Jeffrey M. Sneller, Stephen Lodge, and Alan Caillou. 123 leaves, with last page of text numbered 108. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only, with blue, pink, and yellow revision pages throughout, dated variously between 3/11/77 and 3/26/77. Pages Near Fine, wrapper Very Good plus, bound internally with three gold brads. Nilsen, Warped and Faded.
