A New Edition. Engraved t.p. 109 plates. Elephant Folio. 20" x 13" Very heavy book, extra postage required. Frontis & engraved title leaves separating along gutter. Volume rebacked. Paper turning brittle, with some odd leaf chipping. Ex-lib, with spine call letters, bookplate & the occasional stamp. Withal, a VG copy. Period maroon half calf with marbled paper boards. TEG.

Hardcover. 50cm, double elephant folio. with 2 engraved title pages and 106 copper engraved plates (many containing several illustrations), some damp staining to the last 20 plates, rest of plates are clean, bound in half crushed morocco, raised bands, gilt titles, green cloth, a fine bright copy. (cgc).

Hardcover. Condition: Fair. No Jacket. Illustrated Edition. This is a large 19 1/2 by 12 inches folio book. This is a improved edition with notes and indexes by John Britton. This contains parts 1 and 2. It is Ex. Library. There are 109 full page engraved plates covering prehistoric thru the times of Edward the 3rd. Covers are both off and there is no spine. Marbled endpapers and a couple pages front and back are loose but everything is complete. Some light sporadic foxing and every plate has a library stamp on the bottom plate mark. Most plates are multiple images. A scarce and hard to find volume. Weighs 8 lbs so will require extra postage.
