AUTHOR: John Crippen was born in Washington, D.C. and grew up in suburban Maryland. He received a degree in English from New York University and did post graduate work at Duke University. Crippen later worked as an executive in the Hospitality business where he supervised units in over 40 countries. He currently lives in Orlando FL working as a consultant and playing music.
