Condition: Very Good. Trade catalogue, the sixth annual issue of 1892. Hardcover book . A sumptuous volume in olive-green cloth, lettered in gilt to spine and with blind-stamped decorations to front and back covers. 653pp, large quarto. The frontispiece is a fold-out colour lithograph of ceramic mosaic pavements by J.C. Edwards of Ruabon, followed by a pictorial engraved title page, and there are 16 other plate pages, mostly colour lithographs, of marbles, tiles, and sanitary fittings - all as listed in contents. Other pages show advertisments, often pictorial, including wallpaper, hardware, ironmongery, carpentry, brick, and horticultural building manufacturers. There are also sections on architects with addresses and professional rules, building prices etc. A Very Good copy overall. The contents are well bound and clean though not surprisingly with a heavy book like this there are some cracks over internal hinges at endpapers. Browned endpapers and a few creased page corners. Covers are lightly worn with some marks and a dark area to cloth at back. Pictures available.
