DJ: Good +; NOT Price Clipped ($5.95); closed tear at top and bottom of front gutter; light shelfwear to head, tail, and tips. Blue cloth boards with bright silver lettering on the spine and the UFO on the front board. 217 pp 8vo. The government-sponsored Condon Committee's report was supposed to settle the "flying saucer" question for good - that they were based on stars, weather balloons, planes, hallucinations, and fraud. The House Committee on Science and Astronautics invited six prominent scientists to a special UFO hearing on 7/29/68, and their unanimous conclusion was that there were UFO in Earth's skies. The editor goes in to the aims of the Condon Committee and why it was committed to an anti-UFO position from the start. A clean very presentable copy in a Brodart mylar jacket.
