Add to basketHardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Fine. 1st Edition. This is a UK first edition hardcover published by Barrie & Rockliff in 1964. The jacket is in Fine overall condition and unclipped (21s net). It is bright and unfaded beyond minimal rubbing to the front panel. To be aware of are two tape bleeds to the inside flaps front and back where the previous owner taped the dust jacket protected to the jacket. This hasn't damaged the jacket other than to leave the bleed marks - see last picture. The book is Fine with straight spine, sharp corners and firm spine ends. The pages are lightly toned and there is similar tape marks to the boards for the above reason. The copyright page confirms the first UK publication in 1964. A really attractive copy all told of this scarce UK first edition.
