Limited Edition. 11 pages and a large copper engraved folding map of the River Nene showing the river from Wisbech to The Eye with the last villages shown at this time to be Walpole St Peter & St Andrews, map measures 28 x 14 inches (70 x 35 cm), in original sugar paper soft card covers and original stitched binding, an ink name on the cover "Mr Goldborne" looks and appears contemporary with the age of the book. a well preserved almost fine copy internally with very good+ covers. Small quarto. Scarce. *Note: John Golborne (1724-1783), canal engineer of Cheshire 1724, Born in Chester.
