Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. There were only 1000 copies of this beautifully produced 440 page book printed. I was unable to find one other for sale on the internet. This one is in close to perfect condition (as you can see in the second photograph, a little bit of the black lettering on the spine has come off). This book is extremely well bound, absolutely no issues there. The pages edges are very clean. The pages themselves appear to be spotless. There is no writing/underlining anywhere in the book. There are no markings anywhere in the book. I didn't see any creasing. A perfect interior. As you can see from the photographs, the covers are in excellent condition. John Henry Bryan was born on October 5, 1936 in West Point, Mississippi. He attended Mississippi State University and graduated with a BA in Economics and Business from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. From 1975 to 2000, he served as CEO of the Sara Lee Corporation. He has written a comprehensive history of his family's ancestry beginning in the 16th century in England. There are many maps and many photographs, both in b&w and color. Henry Louis Gates would be impressed.
